Hi everyone! For another round of Honorable Mentions, we're going to be looking at Sword in the Stone (1963) and Robin Hood (1973), with a special guest, Mike Knoll, who was kind enough to bring a bunch of tomatoes! He'll join us to talk about the uses of enchantment, education, and sexy animals, as well as the re-uses of story structure, animation, and mythology.
Because there's three of us, this episode is half-again as long, but we guarantee you, it's worth it.
You can find more of Mike at The Equelizers and A Study in Granada, and The Equelizers episode on Treasure Planet 2 is available here

Friday Dec 07, 2018
Way back when we were first making our bracket, we were SHOCKED that Princess and the Frog's adjusted gross was lower than some of the contenders, so we decided to give it an episode of its own. Did it hold up as well as we remember? We'll try to figure out why it didn't do better, as well as look at its place in history, both in its portrayal of race and its use of animation. Join us, won't you, as we talk about Disney's last 2D Animated Theatrical Release.
